Notes
- Bridge for pedestrians, cyclists and Borgarlína buses across the Fossvogur, under construction. The construction site waters are closed off with orange-flagged buoys; a red and green buoyed passage in the middle stays open.
- Construction schedule according to Borgarlína: foundations in 2026, piers (spring) and steel deck in 2027, handover on 16/6/2028. From March 2027 the route uses the planned clearance as a precaution, because the deck can be lifted into place at any time after that.
- As planned, 4.3 m clear under the middle of the bridge at high water springs and 8.2 m at low water springs (underside 6.5 m in the Reykjavík height system): keelboats with a mast will then no longer get into the Fossvogur, dinghies mostly will.
