Fra en position i Lindholm Dyb umiddelbart NW for begyndelsen af renden ind til Bandholm holdes ENE-over (067,5°) indtil ca. 0,2 sm ret S af havnen, idet man passerer mellem Konemades Hage og Askø Kirkegrund. Herefter fortsættes N-over til havneindløbet.
Vandstand (water level): Forskellen mellem middelhøjvande og middellavvande er 0,5 m. N- og NE-lige vinde giver indtil 1,5 m højvande, S- og SE-lige vinde indtil 1,5 m lavvande.
Strøm (currents): SE-lig kuling kan give ret stærk W-gående strøm ved indsejlingen.
