Besejling (approach): Havnen er beliggende i et naturreservat, hvorfor der gælder særlige regler for sejlads i den del af naturreservatet, som er beliggende N for en ret linie fra tønden (57°27,80'N 10°34,27'E) på Peter Poulsens Rev og derfra til stagen (57°28,46'N 10°37,82'E) beliggende 1500 meter E for Kølpen. N for denne linie er sejlads med motordrevet fartøj med højere hastighed end 10 knob forbudt. Se i øvrigt Særlige bestemmelser. Ved besejling af havnen tilrådes det at holde godt over i N-lige side af indsejlingen p.g.a. tilsanding ved S-lige molehoved.
