Besejling (approach): I den inderste N-lige del af havnen er der ved Fjord & Bæltcenteret over en ca. 80 m lang kajstrækning etableret 2 åbninger i kajvæggen. Bag åbningerne, som er afspærret med wirer med orange kugler, er placeret et bassin til marsvin. Fortøjning ved de udspændte wirer og den mellemliggende kajstrækning er forbudt. Skibsfarten anmodes om at vise hensyn ved passage.
Vandstand (water level): Forskellen mellem middelhøjvande og middellavvande er 0,5 m. Vinde fra NW gennem N til NE giver indtil 1,0 m højvande og S-lige vinde indtil 0,8 m lavvande.
Strøm (currents): Vind mellem NW og N giver stærk indgående strøm og vind mellem S og SW stærk udgående strøm.
