- St. Lawrence Seaway for pleasure craft 2026: 8 to 10 May and 15 May to 18 October (from 8 September upbound only Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun, downbound Tue, Thu and Sat). The Canadian locks operate at fixed times (within one hour), booking and payment online only by 9:00 on the day, CAD 25 per lock; Snell and Eisenhower (USA) on demand without booking, USD 30 in exact cash or via pay.gov. At least 6 m and 900 kg, at most 35.5 m above the water, life jackets for everyone, not under sail, fenders but no car tyres, two people on the lines; Seaway radio only in an emergency (channel 16).
