In 2026 the lock locks downbound on the hour and upbound on the half hour, in summer 8:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 19:00 at weekends. Fixed bridges from 6.7 m, the lift bridges in the canal 3.7 and 5.2 m when closed. The river is the border between Canada and the USA: boats only passing through do not report; anyone who lands or anchors in the other country reports at once (Canada to the CBSA, +1 888-226-7277; USA through the CBP ROAM app).
