Richelieu with the Chambly Canal: Parks Canada runs the Chambly Canal with nine locks and the Saint-Ours lock, season 2026 from May 15 to October 12. Lockage is charged per foot of boat length and is free from June 19 to September 7, 2026. Clearance 8.84 m, draught 2 m, the smallest chamber is 33.5 x 6.7 m. Arriving from the USA, tie up at once at the Quai Richelieu customs dock in Lacolle and call the CBSA (+1 888 226 7277); only the skipper goes ashore.
